It is over…
For a long time I considered you being the one
But time made wiser
It cleared things up
And made me see how things really were.
The constant lying and betrayal left their marks
The days of missing you are gone
The memories have faded away
But the marks will always be there.
The love I feel for you
It’s nothing like it used to be.
The desire to see you has gone
It just doesn’t matter anymore.
Long after you said goodbye to me
I’ll say it to you
But it’s not of much use
Since it was over a long time ago.
