The way we are

“What’s there to hold on to?” vraagt Lene Marlin zich af.

Ook dit nummer is niet helemaal duidelijk waar het exact overgaat, althans niet voor mij maar wellicht dat jullie daar weer een licht over kunnen laten schijnen

In mijn visie vraagt ze het zichzelf af nadat ze iemand de spiegel voor heeft gehouden. Iemand waar ze veel van houdt en voor wie ze van de aarde naar de maan en weer terug zou lopen.

Iemand die haar blij maakt. maar ook iemand waar ze zo af en toe wanhopig van wordt. En die als je alle plussen en minnen tegenover elkaar zet eigenlijk niet goed voor haar is.

En dus houdt ze hem de spiegel voor over hoe hij is. Maar ook zichzelf over de relatie en vraagt ze zich af wat er nog is om je aan vast te klampen…

Maar bij dit nummer.. ik weet het niet. Ik zou er wel eens mijlen naast kunnen zitten…
